Stan Kartes is a seasoned helicopter pilot with over two decades of diverse flying experience. His career has taken him across four continents, from the island of Borneo to the Alaskan Arctic, with experience in search and rescue, wild-land firefighting, construction, surveys and tours. Now based in Bentonville, Arkansas, Stan serves as an Instructor & Check Airman, evaluating and training pilots for oil and gas operations in the Gulf of Mexico. He's also the Chief Pilot for Summit Aviation LLC, managing the charter operation and flying for OZ Trails Heli, combining his aviation expertise with Bentonville's outdoor recreation scene. A family man with two children, Stan balances his high-flying career with a passion for mountain biking, embodying the adventurous spirit both in the air and on the trails.
